Circles
What is a circle
A circle is a self-governing and semi-autonomous team of equivalent people who collaborate to account for a domain.

Circles at Agile Collective
Our current circle structure is flat, with all circles reporting directly to the General Circle, which in turn reports to the Members Circle.
How to form a Circle
Note:
- Circles are only ever created by a parent circle (eg. the general circle)
- Everyone in the organisation is given the opportunity to join any other circle
- If a circle is temporary, it should define its duration or goal as part of its aim
The process
- Interested parties meet to discuss aim/domain, circle permanence
- Take a proposal with your aim and domain to your parent circle
- Parent Circle asks for interest in others joining and runs the proposal
- If the proposal is passed you can exist as a circle and fulfil your aim/domain
- Initial circle meeting will confirm the aim/domain along with: roles & responsibilities, meeting schedule
